Raising Baby Chicks

Looking at store bought eggs to find the egg parts.  Notice the small donut shape on the egg to the right.  This means it was a fertile egg before it went to the grocery store.
 

We are actually in the dark closet candling these eggs to see if the eggs we are incubating are growing.

Theodore (we named him this because when we candled him in his shell he looked like a little fat fella).  Isn't he sweet!!

When students receive a tally they place it in the pocket of the number they were assigned at the beginning of the year.

Tally holder: 
1= Calendar not signed
2= No homework
3= Off task
4= Hands, feet, and objects
5= ??? (went missing)
6 = Raise your hand
7= anything not listed



This is an on-going race to see who brings in the most box tops for education pages filled.
For each page of 10 filled the student places a star next to their name.
